Re: Seven Dials
"That would be sweet," says Luke draining the pint as fast as he can in excitement. "Lead the way."
"Brilliant," he thinks to himself. "I get the sign and the chance to root around for any other tasty valuable that might be lurking around up there."

Re: IC: Perception [Brewster/Henry/Peter]
Once the crowd has dispersed, Brewster shields his eyes from the Sun with his hand and squints into the sky. He spends a good few minutes scanning for stars because he read somewhere that you can see really bright ones even in daylight sometimes. He should probably be more careful about what he reads.

Re: IC: Perception [Brewster/Henry/Peter]
Brewster notes the names and faces of the academics present. Someone round here knows what's going on and he means to get to the bottom of it. That done, he starts to clean up after the blind/not blind nutcase.

Re: Seven Dials
"One of your finest," replies Luke with a nod and a laugh at the publican's joke. He's beginning to think that Laura's vision was the result of drugs. "Tell me, squire," he says as the publican hands over his pint. "You don't happen to have any pictures of this place or the ...

Re: IC: Perception [Brewster/Henry/Peter]
Brewster listens to the conversation but has nothing to add. He's no expert on astronomy or the night sky. He watches Farr being led away and shakes his head slightly in disgust. There are strange things going on. He scans the sky looking for stars that might be visible in the moonlight before decid...

Re: Seven Dials
After a brief walk, Luke finds himself in Seven Dials. It's not an area he's very familiar with but, once you scratch the surface, most run down areas of London share much in common. he leans back against a building, not trying to be noticed, not trying too hard to escape attention, and lights up. h...

Re: IC: Perception [Brewster/Henry/Peter]
Brewster still looks entirely unimpressed with all these strange happenings, disturbing his campus. He tries to remember if he's heard the name Farr before. "Maybe we should find out who this man was. Is. I don't like the fact that he escaped near the University and then ran straight to this la...

Re: Any Given Sunday (IC Day 2)
"It sounds like they drugged you Laura," says Luke, not without sympathy. "There's loads of things they could've used to make you forget what really happened. Best you stay here and recover. I'll go and try and track down this Spaniard. It won't be the first time I've shadowed someone...

Re: Any Given Sunday (IC Day 2)
Luke watches Laura for a few seconds and then shakes his head. "Look, I don't mind going somewhere dangerous but if you know something that's going to help me, why don't you just spill it so we can all get on with what we're supposed to be doing? You're giving me half the information and it's s...

Re: IC-SWORD-Deadly Mission(Katarina/Julie/Strike Force Alph
Larry laughs. "Zombies and fascists; ain't that the perfect mix for the perfect night? Let's worry about the dead guys if they turn up sweetheart. If they do, like as not, they're going to attack the rednecks as well and those guys won't worry about silenced weapons. Might even be that the zomb...

McBain rubs his arms after carrying the crate and grunts a neanderthal approval at Jason. He beckons the troopers over with their torch.
"Get this crate open. We need to see what's inside."

Luke looks at where Laura points on the map.
"What do you mean that I won't be able to get there by normal means Laura?" he says. "Can't I just walk? Didn't you just walk?"

Re: IC: Perception [Brewster/Henry/Peter]
Brewster overhears the academics and doesn't bother to wait for an invitation to the show. "Well, I think there's something funny going on. Experiments or something. I don't rightly care two shits about this blind lunatic I've never met, that much is sure, but I do care about my University and ...

Re: Any Given Sunday (IC Day 2)
Luke fetches a map of London from the shelves and sits down next to Laura. "It's probably best if you just show me on the map Laura," he says. "You're pretty shook up and the bad guys know what you look like." They probably know what I look like too , he thinks to himself, but th...

Re: Any Given Sunday (IC Day 2)
Luke looks at Harwood, then Laura, and then back at Harwood. He shrugs and shakes his head. "Fair enough. You stay here and check out the book and I'll catch up with the Captain and find out where your Spaniard went. Laura, what was he wearing? And where was the boozer he entered?" Luke li...

Re: Any Given Sunday (IC Day 2)
Just when he thought the day couldn't get any weirder, Luke sees Laura flying through the shop like a vengeful harpy. He shakes his head and blows out slowly, wondering briefly if the sandwiches he ate were poisoned and he was just hallucinating this whole thing. "So, chaps," he says final...

Re: Any Given Sunday (IC Day 2)
Luke listens carefully to Harwood and nods slightly. "The handwriting is definitely the same in both books and Wellington said the Doctor was coming back to see him yesterday evening so I think you're right Harwood. This distilling doctor is the one responsible for offing poor old Wellington. N...
